Agilent 5347A: Frequency and Power Meter

The Agilent 5347A is a high-precision microwave frequency counter and power meter capable of measuring frequencies from 10 Hz to 20 GHz and power from -70 dBm to +20 dBm, depending on the sensor used.

This device combines the functions of a frequency counter and power meter, making it a versatile tool for various applications in RF and microwave measurements. It ensures high accuracy and resolution comparable to standalone instruments.

The device has two inputs:

• Input 1: Frequency range from 500 MHz to 20 GHz, sensitivity -32 dBm (typically -35 dBm) for 500 MHz – 12.4 GHz and -27 dBm (typically -32 dBm) for 12.4 GHz – 20 GHz.
• Input 2: Frequency range from 10 Hz to 525 MHz, sensitivity 25 mV RMS (typically 15 mV RMS).
  
  

The frequency counter resolution can be set to 1 Hz or 10 kHz, allowing the instrument to be adapted to specific measurement requirements. Additionally, the 5347A supports automatic averaging selection for the chosen range, enhancing measurement accuracy.
